Jet, a fashion retailer, increased awareness and reduced the stigma surrounding breast cancer in South Africa by creating bare breast tutorials with influencers and sending personalised media drops to key media personalities.

Every October a significant focus is directed in raising awareness around breast cancer; a disease that 1 in 31 women are diagnosed with. Statistics show that 95% of women survive breast cancer if detected early, however South Africa's death rates remain high due to late detection or no treatment.

In the South African context, this is often hindered by lack of access to information, adequate awareness, societal stigmas as well as cultural myths.
