Sound Of Honda/Ayrton Senna 1989
Summary
"The Sound Of Senna” was based on around 98 seconds of driving data collected in 1989 when Ayrton Senna set the world’s fastest lap during F1 Japanese Grand Prix qualifying. And used the data from his on-board telemetry system to recreate Senna’s engine sound. It then designed a spectacular light and sound installation on the Suzuka circuit where the original time had been set. This became the focal point of the campaign for Honda’s navigation system – Internavi. And for the most watched YouTube video by an automobile company in Japan’s history.
