Pfizer Norway: One bite is all it takes

Pfizer, a pharmaceutical company, increased sales of its vaccination against tick-borne encephalitis (TBE) in Norway by creating customised, geo-targeted warning videos.

Campaign Purpose

TBE (Tick-Borne Encephalitis) is a virus, a virus carried by ticks. The result of a TBE infection can be encephalitis, an infection of the brain, that can be deadly. TBE, on the other hand, can be transmitted the moment the tick bites.

The TBE is unknown in Norway. It can be found in ticks in some geographical areas, while its 'competing' bacteria Borrelia is found in more places, in more ticks and is far better known.

People think that if they remove the Tick within 24 hours, they are safe.
