Four-fifths of organisations who manufacture or use Internet of Things (IoT) devices have experienced a cyber-attack in the last 12 months, according to the latest research from Irdeto. This is according to a survey of 700 decision-makers in health, transport, manufacturing IT and technology across China, Germany, Japan, the UK and the US.
Organisations based in the UK and Germany were most likely to have experienced an IoT cyber-attack, with China and the US marginally behind. A full 60% of Japanese organisations said they had experienced one, although the share of respondents saying 'I don't know' was highest.
