As the largest animal rights organization in the world, with more than 6.5 million members and supporters, PETA's mission is to stop animal abuse worldwide. We focus on animals that suffer the most intensely for the longest periods of time: for food, for clothing, in laboratories, and in the entertainment industry. Each year we campaign to end the cruel and unnecessary commercial Canadian seal slaughter.
