Objective
By organizing the Istanbul Backgammon Tournament, the largest esports tournament in Turkey from July 1 to August 16, we aimed to provide a source of motivation and positive feeling for all people living in Istanbul during the COVID-19 lockdown by transforming a 5,000-year old game into an enjoyable mobile game.
