Randall Rothenberg, president/ceo of the U.S. Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB), had some words of cautious encouragement to an opening night audience at the organization's annual leadership meeting.

"It is true that we are poised at an historic juncture; interactive media are becoming the new mainstream," he celebrated. But, he also advised that the still-nascent industry has to embrace leadership through service if it is to reach its full potential in the media/marketing ecosystem.
