Gaming influencers see the highest engagement on YouTube, according to research from influencer management platform InfluencerDB. In their global analysis of 116 million videos on over 100,000 YouTube influencer channels, 5.5% of gaming influencer viewers liked the content.
This is notably higher than second place, with education-related influencers seeing a video like rate of 4.6%. The people & blogs sector follows at 4.5%.
Music-related influencers saw the lowest engagement rate, with 2.3% of total views generating a like. Film & animation (2.9%) plus news & politics (3.0%) also saw low levels of engagement.
