What is agility in a business? Simply put, it is about having the conditions to move quickly; these conditions are both technically and philosophically engrained at a company like the mobility firm Uber.
It’s “being open to making quick decisions, pivoting when necessary, and understanding when something’s not necessarily working, [then] iterating off that process,” Meg Donovan, global director, brand and product, Uber, told the Festival of Marketing (October 2020).
“It was interesting to see agility in practice this year,” she added – even for a business that prides itself on its problem solvers.
