Thinking about APAC e-commerce in 2021: Insights from Unilever, P&G, Philips and HP

E-commerce is experiencing positive disruption due to COVID-19.

COVID-19, it turns out, has introduced positive disruption – at least for e-commerce.

Nicholas Lee, personal health lead for Philips Asean Pacific, said the pandemic’s effects accelerated the Dutch electronics giant’s strategic roadmap “by three to four years – in one year”.

Lee was speaking at a panel session during e-commerce platform Shopee’s Brands Summit in Singapore. The other panellists were Unilever’s Rohit Bhasin, global VP of Pond's; P&G’s Alexandra Vogler, senior marketing director of e-business in Asia, the Middle East and Africa; and HP’s Ng Tian Chong, managing director for greater Asia.
