The role of the Chief Marketing Officer is changing, especially in India, and marketers must stay on top of evolving business priorities, according to United Breweries CMO Samar Singh Sheikhawat.

In a presentation peppered with examples of companies and brands from across the world, Samar Singh Sheikhawat, CMO at India’s United Breweries Limited, spoke on the changing role of the chief marketing officer in the new digital, analytical world and the various challenges that lie ahead.

United Breweries Limited is the market leader in beer manufacturing in India with over 50% market share. Its flagship brand, Kingfisher, is now sold in over 52 countries.
