The New York Times turns to television with “The Weekly”

The New York Times, the news provider, is expanding onto television with a new show called “The Weekly”, a move that represents another step forward in the brand’s growing efforts at diversification.

The New York Times, the paradigm of print, will be coming to television screens across the United States in June 2019.

More specifically, the Grey Lady – which first appeared in print in 1851, and has now fully engaged the web, virtual reality, and podcasting to add new dimensions to its reportage and storytelling – has partnered with cable network FX and online-streaming platform Hulu on a new TV show called “The Weekly”.
