Sir Martin Sorrell is bullish on India and S4 Capital’s future

Sir Martin Sorrell, ex-CEO of WPP, outlines why he’s so optimistic about the role of India in the international advertising industry and why he believes starting from a clean slate is an advantage.

Weeks after his abrupt exit as Chief Executive Officer of WPP Group, Sir Martin Sorrell is already back in action with his new venture, S4 Capital. Sorrell spoke about S4’s strategy, as also the broad trends in the world of marketing and advertising at the Zee Melt conference held in Mumbai in May 2018. He addressed the audience via a live video link from London.

Sorrell believes that the advertising and marketing services industry is in a state of flux, and that offers opportunities for S4 Capital.
