Shopify’s four tips for e-commerce success in 2021

Retailers had to rapidly pivot to online shopping during 2020 and will have to further refine their e-commerce strategies in 2021.

The e-commerce industry is widely considered to have seen ten years of growth in a matter of weeks during 2020, as retailers large and small pivoted to online shopping as COVID-19 upended prior shopping habits.

Many of the firms that enabled this digital pivot are also growing. One of the best examples is Shopify, which describes itself as “the brand behind the brand […] the retail operating system in the background”, and reportedthat 1.7 million merchants, as well as 10,000 large retailers, were using its platform to power online sales by the end of last year....
