Sage is an accounting software firm and the UK’s biggest tech company, but few people have heard of it.

Sage claims to be the UK's largest tech company - listed on the FTSE, almost £2bn turnover and with 13,000 employees in 24 countries. "Compared to a lot of the tech brands you know of, very few people have heard of us," Neil Morgan, the company's EVP/Digital Marketing, conceded. One reason may be that the marketing team had "underserved" the company, he suggested to Newscred's ThinkContent conference (London, November 2017), in terms of how it was "getting the message out there and how it was connecting with consumers".
