Hippeas, an organic chickpea brand, used big thinking to successfully penetrate the US and UK markets by creating a strong brand purpose, a clear vision and an emotional relationship with consumers.

Hippeas, a range of flavoured, organic chickpea puffs, has a big ambition: to become a global brand that changes snacking for the better, through products that are good for both consumers and the planet.

"There was a vision, an idea, a recognition that pulses and nutrient-dense snacking was going to be a fairly large trend," founder and CEO Livio Bisterzo told Creativebrief's BITE LIVE conference (London, November 2017). "The idea was always to try and create something that was socially responsible and something that could scale."
