In New Zealand, 40% of the country's greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) come from energy. New Zealand's Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA) needed to transition the country to a low emission energy system.

While there is almost universal agreement that climate change is real, human made and harmful; how we live, the way businesses operate, and support for bold legislation and regulation have not dramatically changed.

We needed to engage New Zealanders, businesses and leaders to embrace change to reduce our emissions.
