APAC consumers prefer to buy groceries, health and home products in-person

An overview of purchase channels used during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak in Asia Pacific.

Despite the shift to shopping online during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, consumers across Asia Pacific prefer to buy products in the groceries, health & beauty and home improvement categories in-person rather than online, according to research from Adobe.

Over two-thirds (70%) of consumers in Australia, China, India and Singapore said they have bought groceries in-person during the outbreak, compared to half (47%) who have bought them online for home delivery.
