This may come as a shock to the keen ornithologists among you, but I've never much liked birds. Maybe it's because I saw Alfred Hitchcock's classic and terrifying film The Birds at too young an age, but I've always thought of birds as a bit sinister and that's why, as an aside, I had a 'told you so moment' when palaeontologists proved that birds are in fact dinosaurs.
