Online shopping has seen rapid growth in the last few years, which was further accentuated by the pandemic and subsequent lockdowns. The fear of stepping out, coupled with the need for access to basic staples, meant that the grocery segment witnessed one of the fastest increases of 71% user growth since 2019, compared to the 54% increase in overall e-commerce user size.
