Vietnam is one of the leading manufacturers of fashion and textiles in the global marketplace, occupying the third place in apparel export. Many global fashion brands are switching their sourcing base to Vietnam from other countries such as China, India and Bangladesh. The rapid growth of Vietnamese fashion manufacturing can be attributed to low labour costs, favourable government policies and proximity to raw material suppliers.
