Live video content is more popular with Asian streamers but video-on-demand content is growing its share quickly, according to data from streaming analytics company Conviva.
Live content accounted for 53% of total video streaming consumption in Asia last year, making it more popular than on-demand content (47%) and more popular than the global average for live content (30%). Sports streaming may partly explain this popularity.
