Mobile payment usage in Vietnam saw an increase from just 37% in 2018 to 61% in 2019, making Vietnam one of the fastest growing markets in the world. Capturing this growth momentum, new mobile payment apps keep popping up every year. At the moment when this campaign rolled out, ZaloPay had 26 competitors, making the customer acquisition battle tougher than ever.
