How to prepare for GDPR’s 'tsunami of change'

"GDPR is happening: 25 May 2018 it will be in play. There will be changes." That was the stark message from Elizabeth Denham, the UK's information commissioner.

She told the DMA's Data Protection event, held in London in February 2017, that in today's business landscape it is important that companies use data to innovate, but the forthcoming EU General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) will mean businesses must innovate while respecting individuals' data.
