Correos: What you need to know before entering the Spanish e-commerce market

"We always say Spain is different," declared Enrique Sánchez. "We eat at a different time, we have our siesta – we live life different, and so we buy different also."

The international business director at Correos, the Spanish national postal service, was speaking at the E-Delivery Expo, held in Birmingham in April 2017. "If you're already doing it, you may have seen some different behaviour from the Spanish buyer," Sánchez continued. "So you will [need] to apply different strategies to the ones you are using in the UK."
