Wheeler Mission: Building for Change campaign

Wheeler Mission, a homeless shelter in Indianapolis, launched a series of videos and provocative outdoor ads in the US to encourage more donations towards its multi-million-dollar expansion.

Campaign Purpose

Every month, Wheeler Mission turns away over 700 requests by homeless women & children seeking shelter, food and care. Wheeler was celebrating their 125th Anniversary and was launching a capital campaign to fund a desperately needed, multi-million dollar expansion of their Women and Children's Center.

Other alarming stats re: homeless women and children in Indianapolis:

  • 80% of homeless women are victims of domestic violence.
  • The elderly homeless women population multiplies every year.
  • 2,689 children don't know where they'll sleep tonight.
  • 57% of homeless kids go without food one day every month.
  • The number of homeless grew by 10%...
