McDonald's, a fast food restaurant chain, launched an April Fool's Day prank in Australia by creating a video on Facebook and Instagram that announced a fake new burger packed full of pickles, the McPickle.

Pickle removal is the most common order alteration at McDonald's in Australia.

This got us thinking: Does everyone hate our pickles? Should we remove them from the menu altogether? Watching conversation online showed us the other side to this story. Love them or hate them, everyone wants to talk about pickles. Our divisive little relish evokes such strong feelings, even those who hate them, love to talk about them.
