Executive summary

This case study demonstrates how Bud Light set out to discover whether Facebook ads would lead to an increased preference for its beer and therefore an increase in sales in the US. The Facebook ad campaign that followed identified Bud Light's best-performing standard Page posts and amplified them, turning them into Facebook Page post ads. The resulting ROI study proved the campaign had caused a significant uplift in the consumption of Bud Light and achieved a x6 return on ad spend, with a 3.3% uplift in sales.

Bud Light is brewed using a blend of premium aroma hop varieties, both US-grown and imported, and a combination of barley malts and rice. Its superior drinkability and refreshing flavour has made it the world's favourite light beer.
