Objectives

Based on actual hands-on guest research and feedback, Marriott International launched a new dynamic and personalized app for Marriott Rewards members. Marriott is digitizing every moment throughout the guest's travel journey - thinking about travel, planning a trip, staying with us, and finishing a trip - to make their experiences more personalized and seamless, while enhancing the human interactions we have with guests through digital. Marriott introduced a brand new app for Marriott Rewards Members that aims to be The Perfect Travel Companion to help meet this vision.

The new Marriott Mobile app breaks the mould of typical hospitality apps, by going beyond transactions and one-size-fits-all content. The Marriott Mobile app simplifies the travel experience, while allowing guests to customize their hotel stay to their needs and preferences. Loyalty members use the app to find and book a hotel room, check-in, receive notification when their room is ready, access a mobile room key, and checkout. The app's industry-leading Mobile Requests feature allows guests to chat directly with a hotel associate and use a pick-list to request amenities and services before, during and after their stays.
