Last week, TED redefined education, printed a human kidney (with a big disclaimer for the organ traffickers who happened to be watching), and used art to turn the world inside out.

My personal favourite came from Wadah Khanfar, head of Al Jazeera, who shared his view of the historic moment in the Arab world:



Much like the Cairo talk given by Google’s Wael Ghonim, he mentions that all this would not have been possible without platforms like Facebook and Twitter. It seems social media isn’t so useless after all.
