Viacom's Paramount Home Entertainment division has placed its UK media planning and buying business in review - a move its incumbent agency ZenithOptimedia has decided not to contest.
The business is worth an estimated £5.5 million ($10.10m; €7.99m), considerably less than that of another ZO client, United International Pictures which spends in the region of £35m annually.
The lips of the Publicis-owned media agency are sealed as to the reasons for its refusal to defend the account. But those in the know suggest that the shop may have been on the receiving end of an ultimatum from its larger client.
