NEW YORK: US television network CBS has inked a deal with which will allow the video-sharing website to show highlights and other clips from the network's telecasts of the NCAA basketball tournament.

CBS will have a dedicated 'channel' on YouTube and the pair will share revenue from exclusive advertising sponsorship from General Motors' Pontiac division.

The latest deal comes days after Viacom, CBS's former sister company, filed a $1 billion-plus (€749m; £513m) lawsuit against YouTube for copyright infringement [WARC News: 15-Mar-07].
