SUNNYVALE, CALIFORNIA - In a bid to remain the world's most popular online portal and strengthen its advertising appeal, Yahoo unveiled a new look on Tuesday .
    Yahoo's first home page makeover since September 2004 can be previewed by clicking here.
    It includes new interactive features that reduce the need to click through to other pages to review the weather, check email, listen to music or monitor local traffic conditions.
    Another addition, branded Yahoo Pulse, offers recommendations and insights about cultural trends culled from site's 402 million worldwide users.
