WPP's ONLINE UNIT BUYS STAKE IN ITALIAN E-BUSINESS

WPP Group’s online subsidiary WPP.com has taken a 4% strategic stake in newly floated Italian e-business consultancy Inferentia.

The holding, said to be worth approximately €8 million (£5 million), is in line with WPP’s new media development strategy.
