WPP Group is reportedly planning a third international media network.

Several reports last week suggested the agency giant would forge a new business by pooling several unaligned media shops, such as Germany's Media Insight and Maximize in Asia. The resulting network would sit alongside existing units MindShare and Mediaedge:cia, and would give WPP greater scope for handling conflicting accounts.

It was expected that details of the plan would be disclosed on Friday alongside the group's full-year results (see story below). However, WPP has yet to unveil any further information.
