NEWBURY, UK - Cellphone giant Vodafone is to axe around 200 group marketing jobs following the revamp set in motion earlier in the year by newly-appointed global director of consumer marketing Frank Rovekamp.
   The layoffs will see the effective end of the centralised marketing function and will give local operations more control.
