Vodafone Splits Into Three Divisions

    NEWBURY, UK - The world's largest cellphone company Vodafone Group, plans to divide into three units: Europe, Emerging Markets and New Technology.
    The aim of the reorganisation is to cut costs in mature markets and increase profitability in emerging markets. The new structure will be effective from May 1.
    The company plans to roll-out new networks that will enable cellphone users to transmit data and access video over 100 times faster than previous technology.
