NEW YORK - The newly spun-off owner of MTV, VH1 and Nickelodeon this week reported its earnings for the first time since its separation from CBS at the beginning of the year.
Viacom calculated the results as if it had been a separate entity for the fourth quarter and on that basis earned $220 million (€183.9m; £125.5m) down from $378m million in Q4 2004. Revenue rose 9% to $2.72 billion from $2.50bn.
