Atlanta-headquartered telecom’s titan Verizon Wireless is on the hunt for an agency to handle the $40 million creative and media planning duties for its Northwest area, which covers fourteen states.
Incumbent Campbell Mithun of Minneapolis is taking part in the review, which is being supervised by Atlanta’s Wanamaker Associates.
In all, twenty agencies are at the starting line, but these will be whittled to seven before a shortlist of four race for the finishing tape. A decision is expected in the spring.
