Ziment Associates, a New York-based specialist in healthcare marketing research, has been acquired by WPP Group for an unstated sum and will become the hub of a new global healthcare consultancy.
Ziment posted revenues of $18.8 million last year and has net assets of $4.2m. It will work in tandem with extant WPP information and research unit, Kantar.
Says a WPP spoke: “The acquisition of Ziment continues our strategy of establishing a leadership position in fast-growing sectors and important markets.”
