An end is in sight for the $139 million advertising account review by the United States Post Office. Currently split between creative, media-buying, direct marketing, African-American work, and retail/internet, a decision is expected by mid-July.
Among those slugging it out for the business are Leo Burnett’s Chicago office, FCB Worldwide and Grey Worldwide, both of New York. The trio are supported by a number of specialist and minority marketing shops, including Draft Worldwide and Frankel of Chicago.
Current incumbents are FCB (creative); Young & Rubicam (media buying), Caroline Jones Advertising (Afro-American), Frankel (retail/internet), and Draft (direct marketing).
