ORLANDO, FLORIDA - Lightship Group has received Federal Aviation Administration approval for its giant A-170 advertising blimp that flashes commercials, NFL football highlights, movie trailers or anything else a company wants to put on its 70x30-feet LED screen.
It will debut overseas next month, although Lightship executives are zip-lipped as to which advertiser is footing the $5 million (€3.9m; £2.7m) bill for a year-long campaign - or to which nation/s the blimp is headed.
