LONDON - Outperforming the UK magazine market as a whole, Emap's consumer titles pushed the media group's annual profits up 9% to £223 million ($419.4m; €326.57m).
    Titles such as Closer, Heat and Zoo all enjoyed good increases in circulation while the UK's first weekly glossy magazine, Grazia, made a strong contribution following its launch a year ago.
    The division bettered circulation and advertising market averages, with revenues up 4% to £387m and profits ahead 11% to £81m.
