The flourishing UK online advertising market set a new record for expenditure in the second half of last year – bettering £350 million ($645m; €525m).
According to the Interactive Advertising Bureau and Pricewaterhouse Coopers, the industry has been boosted by consumers' love affair with the internet as well as a more creative input into online ads.
Forecasts predict online advertising to double in size every three years and to outsell radio advertising by 2007.
