Digital video recording service company TiVo has formed the TiVo Entertainment Group to help focus its activities and negotiate advertising and ‘couch-commerce’ deals for its parent.

In a speech at the National Association of Television Programming Executives show in Las Vegas, the new group’s VP–chief programming officer Stacy Jolna announced that the division will muster three teams: one to target advertisers and ad agencies; another to service broadcasters, programmers and media agencies; and a group to evaluate consumer behaviour.
