CHICAGO: Three senior marketing executives are leaving consumer goods giant Sara Lee, with cmo Kim Feil, Steve Clapp (vp of the Ball Park hot dog brand) and Peter Reiner (vp Sara Lee sweets) all heading for the exit door.

Their departures follow that of Heidi Kleinbach-Sauter, the former svp of research and development, who left the company last week to join tobacco giant Altria Group.

Sara Lee's media spend was in excess of $75 million (€47.2m; £37.8m) in 2007 according to TNS, and the company's reshuffle is seen by some analysts as part of its broader effort to decentralise decision-making.
