CHESHUNT, UK - Richard Brasher, commercial and trading director at Britain's dominant supermarket chain Tesco, which commands over 30% of national supermarket sales, has assumed responsibility for UK marketing following Tim Mason's move stateside to spearhead Tesco's nascent US operations [WAMN: 13-Feb-06].
    One of Brasher's first tasks will be to oversee the smooth transition of Tesco's £45 million ($78.71m; €65.58m) advertising account from Interpublic Group's Lowe Worldwide into Sir Frank Lowe's new agency The Red Brick Road.
