Online portal Terra Lycos has been hit by the resignation of Abel Linares, chief executive of Terra Networks (which merged with Lycos in October), who had been due to become vp–special products at the internet giant.

The news follows the resignations earlier this month of Bob Davis, founder of Lycos, Ted Philip, chief financial officer of the merged company, and Ron Sege, president of US operations.
