NEW YORK - US cable TV pioneer and outspoken founder of the CNN news channel, Ted Turner, is to leave the board of parent company Time-Warner.
Turner, (67) who remains TW's largest individual investor with nearly 32m shares, says that he reached his decision after much deliberation. He is planning to "refocus his energies" elsewhere including the expansion of Ted's Montana Grill, a restaurant chain that specializes in bison meat.
