LONDON: Market researcher Taylor Nelson Sofres reported H1 results above analysts' expectations with pre-tax profits at £34.1 million ($64.9m; €50.5m), unchanged compared to the same period last year, but ahead of the forecast £30.8m.

Revenue, up 4.5% at £480.5m, also came in above expectations of £470m. However, the company warned overall revenue growth would be held back until 2007 due to its underperforming US business, currently being restructured.
